Rep. Allan Boyd (D-FL), who has purported to be fiscally responsible in the past, has decided to side with Nancy Pelosi in voting “yes” on $2 trillion+ government-run health care legislation.

What made him decide to ignore the will of his constituents and the country-at-large? If he’s anything like the other “moderate” Democrats who have sold out, a bribe of some sort. Most likely an appropriation or promise of a job after he inevitably loses in November.

Boyd’s district voted for John McCain and has a Cook PVI score of R+6. Its residents probably won’t enjoy his vote for government-run health care, $2 trillion in additional spending, and federal tax dollars for voluntary abortions.
