Dr. Dan Benishek, MD. As I posted here earlier, he’s a conservative running for the Republican nomination in Michigan’s First Congressional district.

Why is he relevant? Because he’s running against pro-abortion, pro-socialized health care Bart Stupak (D) — the incumbent who recently sold out to the far-left, pro-abortion lobby for $762,000 in taxpayer funds and an empty promise from Obama.

Benishek believes in free-market solutions to our nation’s problems. He’s a supporter of the Second Amendment, believes in the sanctity of life, opposes tax hikes, and believes the key to creating jobs lies with the small business community. His positions would make Ronald Reagan proud.
