Mind you, for all of the recent economic advancement in China, the country is still Communist. President Hu Jintao actually leads the Communist Party of China. So, in short, here’s the president of the United States bowing to the top Communist in China.
Obama has now officially bowed to the Emperor of Japan, King of Saudi Arabia, and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China. Who’s next? The president of Vietnam? Vladimir Putin? I know, Kim Jong Il. All part of the Obama era of foreign policy.
I’m sure Democrats will insist this groveling is necessary in order to deal with Iran. Funny, Reagan was able to set into motion the collapse of the Soviet Union without going on a global apology/groveling tour. But then he wasn’t a graduate of the Neville Chamberlain School of Diplomacy, so…
Via Hot Air.
Update: And here’s The One hugging the president of Brazil, head of the Workers’ Party (socialist). Obviously less egregious than bowing to the Chinese Communist leader, but still an example likely to come back and bite His Majesty in the butt.
