Boy, Democrats sure are doing everything possible to live up to their tax-and-spend stereotype. Not only are we facing record deficits and a federal debt cap upwards of $14 trillion, but an analysis (PDF) from the House Ways and Means Committee shows Democrats have increased taxes by $670 billion.

The list includes over 14 tax increases, worth more than $316 billion, impacting the American middle class. Tax hikes on the middle class directly violate the president’s campaign pledges. The Associated Press has already confirmed that taxes were increased on the middle class shortly after Obama took office.
