Crist Adviser: Decision “Had Been Made For Weeks”

by Stephan Tawney on April 28, 2010

Well this doesn’t come as a surprise. An adviser to Governor Charlie Crist (AKA Flip-Flop Charlie) tells Dave Catanese of The Politico that Crist made his decision to abandon the GOP weeks ago.

Crist told Fox News a month ago that he was running as a Republican and only as a Republican. In fact, he promised to endorse the winner of the GOP primary.

So it’s the latest lie from a candidate who supported the stimulus legislation and then claimed he never did. And supported cap-and-trade only to back away from his support later. And supported an education reform bill only to veto the same legislation when it reached his desk.
