I can’t say I’m terribly disappointed by the news, if true. I stopped watching years ago, but apparently it recently went on  a political bender by declaring multiple conservative pundits a “cancer spreading ignorance and hate” by having “convinced folks that immigrants are the problem, not corporations that fail to pay a living wage or a broken health care system.”

Sam Waterson, meanwhile, is a devout liberal and eco-whack. He was an Obama campaign volunteer, salesman for far-left publication The Nation, and donor to fellow left-wing loon Ted Danson’s Oceana. And he’s perhaps the most famous cast member of the 20-season long series.

So, as you can imagine, I’m not real distraught by the show’s reported cancellation. I’m only sorry it was on the air as long as it was. In the end it became a cancer, which NBC has apparently acted to remove.
