Tongue-in-cheek, of course. All of the “facts” are based in North Korean propaganda, even including the parts about Kim being born via a supernatural birth and being a fashion trendsetter. (He does wear a stylish onesie, if you’re into the whole “maniacal leader dressed as an oversized baby” look.)
North Korean media reports and the government records all of the claims as indisputable realities. Questioning those claims isn’t a wise career life move in the DPRK. Unless, of course, your ultimate goal in life is to spend the rest of your days in a prison camp.
It’s all part of the culture of personality that has been created through many decades of indoctrination and all-out brainwashing. State-controlled media, state-controlled educational institutions, a ban on the flow of external communications…all to maintain the power of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il.
