Photos published on the Daily Mail’s website prove that the Israeli commandos were brutally attacked by flotilla activists before opening fire in self defense. In one particular harrowing photo, a bloodied Israeli soldier appears to plead for the violence to stop while attempting to shield his face.

The photos demonstrate that these pro-Palestinian “peace” activists were anything but peaceful. The Israeli commandos attacked, beaten, pinned down, and had their very lives threatened. Would any other country have acted differently in response to such a scenario? Does anyone think Turkey would’ve stood by as its soldiers were beaten to bloody pulps? Hardly.

Yet the international community holds Israel to a separate standards, condemning Israel for defending its troops from being beaten and even killed. It’s a disgrace.
