The match-up will be Meg Whitman for the Republicans and Jerry Brown (yes, really) for the Democrats. The two have won the nomination of their respective parties for California governor.
Whitman, the former president and CEO of auction giant eBay, spent $81 million — $10 million of it from her own bank account — to win the nomination.
Jerry Brown doesn’t seem to go away. Ever. He’s current Attorney General, three-time candidate for the Democratic nomination for president, and former governor of California. It’s sad at this point.
