The latest attempt at blame deflection from a man known to blame his predecessor for every problem under the sun, even those created by Democrats after the transition. Here’s the bottom line: He shouldn’t be held accountable for anything, ever. That’s what we’re being told.
His administration has been contacted several times by a company with boom the Coast Guard needs to protect the coast? And he’s done nothing to connect the two parties? Not his fault.
He tried to gut the Coast Guard unit responsible for responding to these incidents? Just months before the rig, owned by a company to which he presented a safety award, exploded? Not his fault.
He portrayed himself as a genius who could solve national problems swiftly, unlike that inefficient rube George Bush? And yet he can’t find his own ass without a Garmin? Totally not his fault.
What do you want from him and his administration, efficiency and competence? Come on, he’s not Superman or anything, regardless of how he sold himself to the electorate two years ago.
The worst part is that the video is actually being pushed by the White House, so this is the actual spin from the administration itself. That’s the line they’re pushing as 2.1 million gallons of oil pour into the Gulf by the day.
