Court 18 at Wimbledon: Hour Nine

by Stephan Tawney on June 23, 2010

Goodness. You know a tennis match has lasted far too long when viewers begin contemplating the glory that would result from the rackets being stolen. At last check, it was 56 all. Tied.

The crowd is now cheering for whomever appears to be on the verge of victory.

Update: Now it’s 58-58 and it’s time for a pee break.

Update X2: 59-59. Dude, I believe we’re in hour ten.

Update X3: Finally the game is suspended due to a lack of light. The match will resume tomorrow, which will be day three.
