Yesterday a professor at the University of Illinois was fired for being Catholic — literally. Today a pastor is banned from the North Carolina capital for saying the name “Jesus” — seriously. From FOX Radio:
“I got fired,” said Ron Baity, pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. He had been invited to lead prayer for an entire week but his tenure was cut short when he refused to remove the name Jesus from his invocation.
Baity’s troubles began during the week of May 31. He said a House clerk asked to see his prayer. The invocation including prayers for our military, state lawmakers and a petition to God asking him to bless North Carolina.”
“When I handed it to the lady, I watched her eyes and they immediately went right to the bottom of the page and the word Jesus,” he told FOX News Radio. “She said ‘We would prefer that you not use the name Jesus. We have some people here that can be offended.’”
When Baity protested, she brought the matter to the attention of House Speaker Joe Hackney.
“I told her I was highly offended when she asked me not to pray in the name of Jesus because that does constitute my faith,” Baity said. “My faith requires that I pray in His name. The Bible is very clear.”
When the clerk returned, Baity said he was told that he would be allowed to deliver the day’s prayer – but after that – his services would no longer be needed.
So he was fired for following his faith as a pastor. Why? Because some unnamed people might be offended by the word “Jesus” being uttered by a pastor as he delivers a prayer at the North Carolina capital. Apparently he should have prayed to Gaia to avoid offending anyone (except Christians, of course, who evidently don’t count when it comes to offense).
How long before using the word “God” gets you into trouble? We’re rapidly approaching the point where the only accepted politically correct church is that of government. You pray at the alter of government, worship its leaders, and honor the earmarks. That will be accepted, but no more of this silly “Jesus” thing.

Our young ones are very susceptible to these “Save The Planet”ideas and ideals – they want to be part of the movement to change our way of life, they feel they have a good reason to do this, and are somewhat fearless in their approach. Behind the “Green, Save the Planet” movement is an occult cabal!
“What if Mary is another name for Gaia? Then her capacity for
virgin birth is no miracle . . . it is a role of Gaia since life began . . .
She is of this Universe and, conceivably, a part of God. On Earth,
she is the source of life everlasting and is alive now;
she gave birth to humankind and we are part of her.”
- Sir James Lovelock, Ages of Gaia
Look at it this way, those who want you to save the planet, are leading you down the path that will teach you that there is no God ‘out there’. The Earth is your mother – they even name her Gaia. But will she die for you? will she rise for you? and more importantly can she lead you into everlasting life?
Sure do your bit to recycle and not misuse the gifts given to you on this planet …. but be careful who it is you follow and which path they lead you down!

You can have any beliefs you want, yours are no more valid than mine so try not pretend that your religion should in any way be the religion of the USA or that I should be forced to listen to your prayers and religious dogma when I think they are in no way superior to mine. Fair is fair.
