Reid: Yes, I Support The Federal Lawsuit Against Arizona

by Stephan Tawney on July 12, 2010

This is what happens when your representative has been in Washington for so long that he becomes more interested in representing the White House than his constituents.

Arizona is suffering from a constant flow of illegal aliens and drug runners across the southern border. The federal government refuses to enforce the law, so Arizona steps in to defend its citizens. The federal government responds with a lawsuit. How dare you attempt to do the job we refuse to do, the feds say.

So where does Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) stand? With the 63% of Nevadans who oppose the lawsuit? Or even the 43% of Democrats who join 65% of Independents who oppose the federal government’s attack on Arizona? No, he stands with the Obama Administration.

JON RALSTON: “So that is a yes, you support the administration’s lawsuit?”

HARRY REID: “I think it is important that we determine what the . . .”

JON RALSTON: “So that is a yes right?”

HARRY REID: “Ya, sure.”

It’s time for Harry Reid to be retired to the private sector. He clearly has no interest in representing his constituents any longer.
