Britain Revokes Russian Spy Anna Chapman’s Citizenship

The UK government has revoked Russian spy Anna Chapman’s citizenship and confiscated her passport after it was revealed that she had spied on the United States for Moscow.

Chapman lived in London for five years before moving to the United States to begin her espionage operation. She even married an Englishman in 2002. They were divorced in 2006.

After her arrest, Chapman expressed her desire to return to England, rather than to Russia.

The 28-year-old spy was flown back to Moscow on the biggest spy swap since the Soviet Union era. Upon her arrival she received a letter noticing her about her citizenship being revoked and her passport being no longer valid.

It’s pretty bad when even a Russian spy doesn’t want to return to Russia.
