So apparently the notoriously-flawed iPhone 4 won’t be recalled after all. Instead, customers will be provided with a free case to help deal with the “death grip” problem.

Basically, the problem still exists. You still can’t handle the phone itself the way you could the older models. Apple is just willing to cover up the problem (allegedly) for you.

All new customers will also be eligible.
