Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND) reportedly just summed up how Democrats view your money: It’s actually the government’s unless politicians in Washington say you can have it.

Sen. Dorgan just said a vote for tax cuts is a vote to “reduce this country’s income”.
No, Senator Dorgan. A vote for tax cuts is a vote to let me keep more of my own money. Now if that means less money for the government overall (note: it doesn’t), then you need to reduce federal spending. My money doesn’t belong to you. You do not have an inherit right to my money.
