Two separate independent surveys recently found conservative Pat Toomey (R) leading liberal Joe Sestak (D) by a significant nine-point margin in the race for United States Senate in Pennsylvania.
Now MSNBC reports that an internal poll conducted by Democrats finds the same, albeit less dire, situation: The fiscal conservative leads the tax-and-spend liberal by two points.
Sestak’s connection to the Obama-Pelosi agenda isn’t helping his case. A recent Quinnipiac poll found Obama’s approval rating under water in the Keystone State. And that was before the mosque kerfuffle or the latest dire economic forecast.
