Well, the Department of Justice was looking to hire a “Native American Medicine Man”. Then the Drudge Report linked to the posting and the traffic flowed. Now the request has been changed to “Native American Services/Spiritual Guide”.

Anyway, the necessary qualifications remain the same. Applicants — who will conduct ceremonies for prison inmates –  must be familiar with the medicine wheel, sweat lodge, medicine pouch, cleansing ceremonies, sacred pipe, dances, and the drum.

No word as to how much taxpayers will compensate the new “medicine man”.
