Much of the left and professional victim class have been in a tizzy over reports that some douchebag walked into a mosque last evening and began peeing on the worship center’s prayer rugs while uttering anti-Muslim slurs.

Those hateful, bigoted right-wingers! Told you they were anti-Muslim!

Oh, wait. It turns out that the urinator, Omar Rivera, wasn’t actually uttering anti-Muslim slurs. Oh, and the NYPD says he was drunk as a skunk. And he likely didn’t even know that he was in a mosque at the time.

So that angry, bigoted right-winger who desecrated a Muslim house of worship while uttering anti-Muslim slurs? Turns out he was a drunk guy named “Omar Rivera” who didn’t say anything anti-Muslim and likely didn’t even know he was in a mosque.
