Yes, really. It’s Khuram Sher, and he’s one of the three jihadists detained in a domestic terror plot in Canada. Apparently he auditioned for Canadian Idol back in 2008 — an audition at which he sang Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated” while doing the robot and moon walking.

You’ve no idea how much I wish I were kidding.

Incidentally, Sher was lying to the Idol judges even back in 2008. According to reports, he’s actually Canadian-born and not, as he claimed, a recent immigrant from Pakistan. Oh, and he’s a physician, as scary as that sounds.
