Again, it’s just a report at this point so all due caution, but wow if true.
JERUSALEM – Today’s deadly terror attack that killed four people took place on a road where the Israeli government removed staffed anti-terror checkpoints in line with requests from the Obama administration, WND has learned…
Both incidents took place on Route 60, a West Bank road used by Israeli and Palestinian drivers and patrolled by Israel.
In the last year, the Israeli government removed 19 staffed checkpoints in the West Bank. At least 15 of the removed barriers are in the vicinity of Hebron.
A spokeperson for the Israel Defense Forces confirmed to WND that in the last year and a half, all roadblocks have been removed from Route 60.
The checkpoints were dismantled in line with demands from the Palestinian Authority that were passed on to Israel by the Obama administration.
The attack involved ambushing and gunning-down four Israeli civilians, including one female who was pregnant at the time. Islamic terror group Hamas — last heard announcing its support for the Ground Zero mosque — has already claimed responsibility for the attack.
Paramedics arrived too late to save any of the victims, who were apparently strewn across the road and struck in the vital organs with large-caliber bullets. Police say the victims were shot at point-blank range while driving down the road.
Reportedly George Mitchell, Obama’s czar for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, specifically requested the removal of the road blocks as a goodwill gesture intended to bring Palestinians to the negotiating table. Instead, four Israelis — including a pregnant woman — lie dead, struck down by Islamic terrorists supporting the Palestinians.
