They were shot to death in their beds. Someone should stick a fragmentation grenade up his ass and pull the pin.
HOUSTON, TEXAS (BNO NEWS) — A father has been charged with capital murder after being accused of killing his three children on Sunday in northeast Houston, authorities said.
The Harris County Sheriff’s office said the boys, aged 14, 12, and 7, were found shot to death in their beds at a residence located in the 13027 block of Homestead when Sheriff’s deputies arrived around 9:45 a.m. CDT.
Their father, Mohammed Goher, 47, was found with a non-fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, and he was transported to Ben Taub Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Damn shame he didn’t shoot himself first.
The worst part: This could have been prevented. Not only did the babysitter see the father with the pistol before fleeing to a neighbor’s house and calling the police, but the father has a history of domestic abuse. He was arrested in 2006 for violence against his family.
And yet Goher maintained visitation rights with the children. The murder was Friday and he was supposed to turn the children back over to their mother on Saturday. In fact, people close to the family say he was upset over an upcoming court date, fearing he would lose the visitation rights.
Luckily (not luckily but you know what I mean), this is Texas. They don’t have a problem with executing murderers like Goher. And, as Ron White jokes, the state has an express lane for the death penalty.
