We only thought Alan Grayson had reached rock-bottom with his last ad, which drew significant criticism from veterans groups and independent fact checking services. But it would appear that Grayson intends to get much, much dirtier in his fight to keep power for himself and his vote for Nancy Pelosi.
A new ad from Grayson finds the congressman comparing his Republican opponent, Daniel Webster, to the Taliban. Why? Because apparently Webster is — gasp! — a Christian. And because he’s a Christian, he must be a radical fundamentalist who wants to deny women any rights and oppress those who disagree with him.
We should have expected nothing less from radical leftist Alan Grayson. This is the guy who compared Republicans to Nazis, said opponents of government-run health care want senior citizens to die, and is mentally unstable enough to decide he favored mandatory vacation time after riding the tea cup ride at Disney World. Seriously.
He’s desperately clinging onto power, and he knows his tax-and-spend, big government record won’t help him this year. So he’ll use baseless accusations to sling mud at his Republican opponent. You can help defeat this sleeze bucket. Help out Daniel Webster.
Let’s accept for a moment that Webster does believe in the Bible’s line at women should submit to their husbands. How is that comparable to terrorist elements who execute women for adultery and carry out attacks against innocent people? Absolutely absurd.
