Obama Plays the Race Card to Rally Base

Obama says people are impatient but “now’s not the time to quit…it took time to free the slaves…ultimately we’ll make progress.”

There were any number of American accomplishments Obama could have referenced in order to prove his point that change can take time. He could have referenced the American Revolution, any war — hot or cold — in which we were victorious, and for his liberal friends something from the Roosevelt administration.

His liberal allies accuse Republicans of being racist for opposing the far-left agenda. And now, lo and behold, here’s Obama comparing his pursuit of change to the abolition of slavery. A sheer coincidence, I’m sure.
