It’s helpful to remember in the closing days of the midterm election in Pennsylvania that Joe Sestak has a history in the House of Representatives that places him firmly outside the American mainstream.
He voted with Nancy Pelosi nearly 100% of the time. He voted for the failed $787 billion “stimulus” legislation that left America with 9.6% unemployment. He voted for out-of-control spending that has resulted in a $1.3 trillion deficit and $13 trillion deficit. And he voted to force taxpayers to fund abortion-on-demand procedures.
Wait, what? Surely Sestak didn’t really vote to force taxpayers to fund abortion-on-demand procedures. That must be some baseless far-right accusation, right? Nope. Sestak voted for health care reform legislation that provides taxpayer funds for abortion procedures — including those not considered necessary for health reasons.
I’m surprised Sestak found time to force taxpayers to fund abortion-on-demand procedures in between attacking Israel for defending itself and raising money for an unindicted co-conspirator in an Islamic terrorism financing trial. He’s been busy. Of course, his activities place him outside the American mainstream. One might even call him “radical”.
Folks, we can’t afford Joe Sestak in the Senate. We can’t afford another rubber-stamp vote for Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama. We need an independent thinker who will vote for limited government and fiscal responsibility. Please help Pat Toomey defeat Sestak on November 2nd.
