Report: Boxer Failed to Disclose Million-Dollar Home

by Stephan Tawney on October 26, 2010

According to a report by Roger Simon, Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) failed to disclose her interest in a million-dollar home in Oakland. Which is a problem because Senate rules require her to disclose such investments, and it’s not like Boxer can claim to be ignorant of the rules: She chairs the Senate Ethics Committee.

Boxer has some questions to answer. Like why she allegedly hid a major investment, breaking ethics rules in the process. It’s unacceptable for any senator to do so, but even less tolerable when the senator in question is the chair of the Senate Ethics Committee.
