U.S. Economy Grew at Sluggish 2% in Third Quarter

by Stephan Tawney on October 29, 2010

It’s faster than the 2nd quarter and slower than the 1st quarter. It was exactly what economics predicated. And, oh yeah, it’s nowhere near where it needs to be to significantly reduce the unemployment rate.

To quote the Wall Street Journal, “growth remains too weak to cut unemployment any time soon”.

The left-wing media will spin this as awesome economic news, of course, with the midterm just four days away. They’re desperate to run whatever “good” news they can to help Obama and Congressional Democrats.
