At first it sounded like it was maybe just overzealous supporters. But then the crowd began booing the chanters, and Obama responded by criticizing the same. And then, well, all hell breaks loose. Obama can’t even manage to speak for a few minutes.

The hecklers are apparently interested in global AIDS prevention funding. At least that’s what I can make out from the video. Obama says he’s funding global AIDS prevention and his opponents aren’t interested in doing so.

Which really makes no sense because the last Republican president and his Republican congressional allies gave more money to fight AIDS in Africa than any other administration in history. Which is why you find people like Bono praising Bush despite having major political differences.
