I didn’t catch it at the time, but apparently lefty comedian Jon Stewart went after Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) on September 30th for supposedly holding up relief to Haiti. Stewart labeled the senator an “international asshole of mystery”, complete with a photoshopped image from Austin Powers. Turns out Coburn isn’t holding up aid to Haiti. [...]

Illinois: While Soldiers Wait for Ballots, Prisoners Get Them Hand Delivered

Like I said when a similar story arose in New York City: If there were a welfare community in Iraq that could vote, I’m betting the ballots would have gotten there in time. In Illinois, replace “welfare community” with convicts: Over 35 counties in Illinois missed the deadline to mail military ballots to our soldiers [...]

The Political World Turned Upside Down

Let’s review. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is overturned (for now) thanks to a lawsuit launched by the Log Cabin Republicans. The administration of the Democratic president responds with an appeal to reinstate the policy banning gays from the military. Liberals in California — a state known for its harboring of illegal aliens thanks to liberal [...]

The Canadian ambassador to the United States has taken it upon himself to get involved in American domestic politics, attacking Sharron Angle over a statement she made regarding the northern border. “What we know is that our northern border is where the terrorists came through. That’s the most porous border that we have,” she said. [...]

Mob Banker Giannoulias Recruits Vets to Attack Kirk

Welcome to Chicago politics. The problem here isn’t the idea of veterans going on television and slamming a fellow veteran. That’s obviously been done before. The problem is that Mob Banker Giannoulias was too busy lending money to the mob to serve his country, but now he’s promising compensation for veterans who will go after [...]

According to a lawsuit filed yesterday, three van loads of students from Hughes Center High School in Cincinnati were taken to vote during school hours. Which would be fine were it just a public service, but the lawsuit says they were given sample ballots only for Democratic candidates. The students were then reportedly taken for [...]

Republican Senate nominee John Raese has picked up a big endorsement from the Charleston Daily Mail. The paper decided that Joe Manchin, a likely rubber-stamp for the Obama-Pelosi agenda, simply isn’t the best choice to represent West Virginia in the United States Senate. WEST Virginians must soon choose who will represent them in the U.S. [...]

When Barack Obama was sworn-in on January 20th of last year the national debt totaled about $10.6 trillion. We now owe more than $13.6 trillion. What happened? The tax-and-spend president and his tax-and-spend Congress have actually managed to rack up $3 trillion in debt over just two years. New numbers posted today on the Treasury [...]

Mob Banker Giannoulias: Obama’s Just Too Darn Nice

19. October 2010

Yeah, that’s the problem. It’s not that he’s a narcissist who has used underhanded tactics and lies, combined with a solid Democratic majority in Congress, to ram through his now-unpopular agenda. It’s the fact that he’s been too darn nice towards Republicans. The Chicago Democrat also says Obama has sometimes been “too nice.” He says [...]

Nancy Pelosi: Let’s Talk About “Ownership and Equity”

Hey, guys, it’s time to recognize the 600 lb guerilla in the room: Nancy Pelosi is socialist. I’m sorry, but that’s simply not hyperbole anymore. When a politician starts talking about redistributing wealth, taking money from one individual who earned it to give it to someone who didn’t, he or she is supportive of socialism. [...]
