I mentioned this in our election night liveblog but it really deserves its own post. ACORN, the radical leftist community organizing group responsible for helping Obama get elected two years ago, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Chapter 7 is liquidation rather than reorganization. ACORN is going away.

That’s the good news. The bad news? The people and resources behind ACORN will likely re-establish under another brand and continue their radical leftist activism. So while ACORN itself will be gone, the people actually behind the organization will probably stay around and continue their work.
