Bruce Springsteen: How Dare People Call Socialism “Socialism”

by Stephan Tawney on November 24, 2010

Another Hollywood libtard rallying to the defense of a politician he views as “moderate” only because said Hollywood libtard is even further left-wing. How “moderate” a politician is depends on the starting position of the viewer, and this viewer is far left.

“There’s a widespread political consciousness that’s perhaps deeper in Europe than it is in the States,” he told the Sunday Times magazine.

“The climate [in America] is very, very ugly for getting things done. The moderate reforms President Obama fought to make are called Marxist, socialist.

“I mean, the most extreme language is put into play to describe the most modest reforms that would move the economy back towards serving a majority of its citizens.”

Note to “The Boss”: If the reforms in question had moved the economy forward, and they have indeed been enacted, then Democrats wouldn’t be able to blame their recent beating on the flailing economy. Democratic policies failed and the end result was a flailing economy, which Democrats in turn blame for their electoral losses.

The musician, often referred to as “The Boss”, added: “You have a guy [Mr Obama] who comes in, he gets to be president for four years. Maybe eight.

“But you have the financial institutions, you have the military, the corporations. They’re in play constantly and, in truth, they’re shaping the economy and shaping the direction the US is moving in.

“Those forces are huge. The money and lobbyists are pouring in to do everything they can [to preserve the status quo]. It’s a very tough time, a very hard time here in the States.”

It’s a very tough time here in the United States because we have Washington doing everything possible to further drive us into bankruptcy, while simultaneously working against job creation by attacking both business and the capitalist system in general. Not because unnamed lobbyists are fighting — rather unsuccessfully — against the Democratic Party’s agenda.

The greatest poet in American history is unfortunately a socialist, draft dodging, history deprived, butt kissing, wussy who is so far up Obama’s butt it is sickening.
