ICC Investigating War Crimes Allegations Against North Korea

Kim Jong-il isn’t going to like this. Not even a l-il bit (get it?).

The International Criminal Court has announced that the Office of the Prosecutor is investigating North Korea for possible war crimes relating to its shelling of Yeonpyeong Island and its sinking of the Cheonan.

South Korea is a willing participant in the ICC so the court has jurisdiction over investigations of war crimes committed within its territory.
