Another Border Patrol Agent Killed on Southern Border

by Stephan Tawney on December 15, 2010

Another Border Patrol agent has lost his life in the line of duty. Agent Brian Terry was shot and killed Tuesday night in Arizona, just north of the US-Mexico border. He was encountering several suspects at the time.

Agent Brian Terry was killed just 10 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border, north of Nogales. Four suspects are in custody and one is being pursued, according to a press release from Customs and Border Protection.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.

Senate Democrats, meanwhile, are pushing for amnesty for millions of illegal aliens — including individuals who have committed non-immigration crimes. Enforcement measures? None. Amnesty for illegals? Plenty.

I am Brians’ cousin! This was a senseless killing, he lost his life because the borders are laxed and desperately in need of fortification. We now have to go through life without him in it and we are all well aware that he knew the risks involved with his job but if every precaution were to have been taken he would never had been in that situation that day. More agents are needed and stronger laws need to be in place. These bandits he was in the firefight with were well armed, where did they get those firearms? who trained them? what is their motivation to keep the desire to ruin our way of life in our great country alive and burning in their hearts? These are the questions that are in need of attention, disarm the army and they can’t attack.
