Some time ago I predicted that Democrats would hold their 2012 convention in St. Louis — a heavily-unionized city with plenty of infrastructure and the backing of Obama’s home state of Illinois. Well, St. Louis is now one of the two final choices Democrats face, the other being Charlotte.
