I honestly can’t read where he’s going with this. He’d do well pursuing either office — a staunch, electable conservative who can both give a speech and get things done. And he lacks a left-wing media-created caricature, unlike other potential candidates like Palin (she’s too dumb) or Huckabee (he wants a theocracy).

If I had to guess, I’d say he’s running for governor in 2012 and saving a run for the president until 2016. But like I said, I can’t read this one.
