Bloomberg Was in Bermuda as Blizzard Approached

One wonders: Will the same people who gave Governor Chris Christie (R), who left an acting-governor in charge, a tough time for being in Florida during the blizzard now go after Mayor Michael Bloomberg (Independent Liberal) for being in Bermuda as the storm approached?

Do note also: While Christie was absent, his state’s clean-up efforts apparently worked well. Perhaps that had something to do with the fact that he left capable, elected officials in charge — including an acting-governor. New York City, meanwhile, saw a disastrous blizzard response, including tragedies such as children dying because ambulances couldn’t get through the snow.

I’m pretty sure Snowpocalypse destroyed the image of Bloomberg as the squishy-but-capable manager portrayed by the media, who had hoped for a Bloomberg third-party candidacy. You can’t honestly argue that he’s an on-the-scene, get-stuff-done kind of guy.
