Obama Celebrates Roe v. Wade Anniverary

Just days after a Pennsylvania abortion doctor was indicted on multiple counts of murder and illegal abortion procedures for his horror operation, President Barack Obama celebrated the anniversary of Roe v. Wade — the Supreme Court decision that determined abortion to be a right.

In the process, Obama made a statement conservatives certainly wish he would extend to health care at large.

Government should not intrude on private family matters,” Obama said in a statement, adding that he also supports policies to prevented “unintended pregnancies.”

That’s a riot. The namesake of ObamaCare is lecturing on how government shouldn’t get involved in family matters? Apparently that only extends to ending pregnancies.

When it comes to other, life-saving medical procedures? Or even deciding whether to purchase health insurance to begin with? Apparently government’s place is firmly positioned within family matters.

And so we reach the inevitable hypocrisy of those who cry “keep your hands off my body” when it comes to abortion but are just fine with the government telling them what to eat, what to drive, what medicine they can take, which procedures they can have, when they can have them…basically, they’re fine with government regulating everything except abortion.

Oh well. What did you expect from a man who said having a baby is a “punishment”?
