QUETTA, PAKISTAN (BNO NEWS) -- At least four people, including a police officer, were killed in rocket attacks in Pakistan's southwestern city of Quetta, Ary News television reported.
"The first one landed on a road at Zarghoon Road near Sariab Phatak which killed a police Inspector, Muhammad Safder, and injured at least 13 civilians," a police official said.
The official added the second rocket landed near Raesani Plaza, a residential area, but no causalities were reported.
The injured were taken to the city's civil hospital. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but the government blamed anti-government insurgents.
Earlier on Wednesday, two rockets were fired in the southern port city of Karachi. No loss of life was reported.
