LONDON (BNO NEWS) -- The Archbishop of Canterbury on Friday declared Prince William and his long-term girlfriend Kate Middletown married after the couple said "I will" in a marriage service watched from around the world.

"I pronounced that they be man and wife together, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost," the Archbishop said during the service at London's Westminster Abbey.

Prince William is second-in-line to the British throne.
