A continuation of last night’s story. Read that first if you don’t understand the “WeinerGate” reference.
Anyway, Dan Riehl points out an oddity on Weiner’s Twitter account. Yesterday he posted this:
Heading to 30 Rock to chat with Rachel at 9. #Thats545InSeattleIThink
about 17 hours ago via TweetDeck
Retweeted by 18 people
He later sends the lewd photo to a woman who lives in, where else, Seattle. That same woman to which he would later send the image actually retweeted that earlier tweet.
So helpfully and randomly points out the time of his appearance in Seattle, a woman retweets his post, and then later his account sends a lewd (evidently private) photo to the same exact woman in Seattle.
Then people discover the Tweet, it’s deleted, and Weiner starts to claim that his Facebook account was hacked. Actually, the photo was posted to his yfrog account. Was that hacked, too?
Update: Another question: If a Congressman’s accounts were hacked, shouldn’t that be reported to the police? Has Weiner contacted authorities so they can launch an investigation? The “hacker” illegally accessed his accounts and the network on which they reside. So far no indication that Weiner has contacted authorities.
