Romney Holds Wide Lead in New National Poll

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney holds a wide lead in a new national poll of the Republican primary race.

A poll from NBC/Wall Street Journal shows Romney in first place with 30%. He’s followed by Michelle Bachmann at 16%, Rick Perry (who has yet to declare) at 11%, Ron Paul at 9%, Newt Gingrich at 8%, Herman Cain at 5%, Rick Santorum at 3%, and Tim Pawlenty and Jon Huntsman tied at 2%.
