Twitter founder Jack Dorsey looks admiringly upon President Obama during a recent townhall hosted by Twitter.
An update to this post.
Twitter still hasn’t explained why it suddenly and inexplicably shutdown accounts belonging to conservative activists and organizations a few days ago.
Shutdown are accounts belonging to conservative groups Empower Texans and AgendaWise. Additionally, employees for those groups have found their personal accounts suspended — also without explanation or warning.
Twitter remains silent as to why it suspended these conservative accounts. A employee for Twitter only says that the groups may receive an explanation tomorrow. Otherwise, the company has been silent for days now.
The groups say they have reviewed the content of their Tweets and none violated Twitter’s rules.
Twitter and its founder, Jack Dorsey, recently hosted a pro-Obama townhall in which the president was asked largely softball questions, giving him an opportunity to spout talking points.
Dorsey has made at least two significant political contributions — both to Democratic candidates.
