White House Admits: No Default on August 2nd

After weeks of scaremongering and false premises, the White House has finally admitted that the United States will not default on August 2nd.

Press Secretary Jay Carney, official spokesman for the president, conceded during today’s briefing that August 2nd would simply be the initial stages of risking default — not an actual default.
