Senator John McCain (R-AZ) is defending his juvenile attack on conservatives, telling Sean Hannity that his remarks were meant to slam conservatives for opposing the latest Republican sell-out plan.
Hannity came out swinging against McCain, who has been tempered in his criticism of Barack Obama and yet managed to insult conservatives by calling them “hobbits” and obstructionists.
Even after admitting conservative grassroots were responsible for handing Republicans the House majority, McCain — who refused to attack Barack Obama during the 2008 election — refused to apologize for his juvenile remarks.
