Obama Orders DHS to Ignore U.S. Immigration Law

Remember that time not so long ago when Congress was needed to alter federal law? Ah, those were the days. Now all that’s needed is a “policy change” from His Highness, King Downgrade.

The Obama administration said Thursday it will allow many illegal immigrants facing deportation the chance to stay in this country and apply for a work permit, while focusing on removing from the U.S. convicted criminals and those who might be a national security or public safety threat.

That will mean a case-by-case review of approximately 300,000 illegal immigrants facing possible deportation in federal immigration courts, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said in announcing the policy change.

So those laws that say illegal aliens are to be deported? Screw those. We’re doing it Obama’s way now, and that means backdoor amnesty. Which I’m sure will please to no end the millions of legal residents and citizens who can’t manage to find jobs right now.

Silly plebes, things like “federal law” and “the Constitution” are for you little people. Not Barack Obama and his merry band of Chicagoan miscreants.
