Residents of New York City can expect hurricane conditions within 36 hours. The National Hurricane Center has just issued a hurricane warning for the city, coastal Connecticut, and Martha’s Vineyard.

All areas of the eastern seaboard from North Carolina to Massachusetts are now under hurricane warning. Again, expect hurricane conditions within 36 hours — and most likely sooner.
