Such is the condition of the Obama presidency, my friends, that he moved his speech to Congress so it didn’t conflict with Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry arguing over who’s more folksy.

And hey, you know what’s also scheduled for September 8th? The first game of the NFL regular season — Packers vs. Saints. So he’ll play second fiddle to a football game.

I’d be sad and embarrassed for him…if I wasn’t laughing so damn hard.
