I’m not a gold bug, I have no investments in gold, and I’m slightly concerned that we’re looking at a bubble. But still. Gold hitting $1,700 per ounce, whether it’s actually worth it or not, demonstrates investor jitters following the downgrade of the United States and weakening of the global economy.
