Stocks Set to Tumble at Open
Stocks are set to open significantly lower today, with Dow Jones Industrial Average futures down a whopping 203 points at the moment. S&P and Nasdaq futures are both down significantly, too. Stocks tumbled in Asia overnight, and European markets went on an equally wild ride.

I’m not a gold bug, I have no investments in gold, and I’m slightly concerned that we’re looking at a bubble. But still. Gold hitting $1,700 per ounce, whether it’s actually worth it or not, demonstrates investor jitters following the downgrade of the United States and weakening of the global economy.
