CORNELL BELCHER, DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST: First of all, do you think you’re going to invite me on the show and then I’m not going to talk about the ridiculousness of that statement? Two things. One is a great way to sort of get people on your side and win voters is to attack their intelligence.

So great job there. Really sensible, Herman Cain.

The second part here is, it’s really a teachable moment. You know, if I came on your show, Anderson, and I said, all Jewish people are brainwashed, I probably wouldn’t be invited back to CNN and I assure you the condemnation would be swift and it’d be powerful and be strong.

What Herman Cain said was a racist, bigoted statement and it should treated like a racist and bigoted person who makes those racist and bigoted statements.

His statements? That black voters have been brainwashed by the left into thinking voting for liberals is in their best interests. Cain believes a platform of school choice, lower taxes, smaller government, family issues, and more individual liberty would be a better solution for blacks. Keeping in mind Herman Cain is a black man from Georgia who found success in life.

But by the rules of liberal ideology, you’re automatically a racist if you disagree with liberal ideology. You’re a successful black man offering your opinion on how to ensure more blacks become successful? Unless your opinion involves more government dependency and blind allegiance to the Democratic Party, you’re a racist. Plain and simple. Such is the state of left-wing advocacy today. It’s reeks of desperation.
