Leaked Emails Show Media Figures Working With Occupy Protesters to Craft Message

by Stephan Tawney on October 16, 2011

Emails leaked from a left-wing email list show prominent media figures working with the extreme-left Occupy Movement to craft a political message. List members include Bill Moyers, Noam Chomsky, Dylan Ratigan, William Black, Glenn Greenwald, Tyler Durden, Matt Taibbi, David Cay Johnston, and more.

You can read through the leaked emails here, while Big Journalism has screencaps of some more interesting ones.

We can’t be surprised. The media was frustrated over their failure to define the mid-term election and they’re even more frustrated by their inability to save Barack Obama’s image. In a last-ditch effort they’re coordinating with Marxist activists to frame these anti-American, anti-capitalist protests as the voice of angry people everywhere.
